I Could Eat!

This miniature furry bear is ready to eat a smorgasbord of salmon, berries and acorns. He looks so happy and delighted with all the treats he has collected.

Melinda created this furry bear using only paper and paint. The bear's fur coat is created with very thinly cut pieces of paper. After it is cut, the paper is attached to the bear's paper body. It is a long, tedious, slow process taking many hours. The paper is then painted in watercolor and gouache.

The bear, made completely out of paper and paint is mounted to wood so that it can be hung up on your wall when it arrives. The miniature bear measures in at 3.5" high x 2." wide x 2.5" deep.
