This little orange and white tabby kitten looks like she is going to walk right out of the painting into the foreground to get a closer look at all those butterflies!

The kitten’s three-dimensional face and tail comes out of the flat, two-dimensional background, into the foreground of the painting. The scene is made out of paper and paint, using the finest artist papers. The little butterflies are attached to clear acetate papers to make them stand out and look as though they are fluttering in to visit the little orange tabby kitten.

Combining the fine intricate pieces of hand cut paper fur for the kitten’s coat with the slivers of paper grasses and tiny delicate flowers and butterflies, all hand painted in watercolor and gouache, brings this darling picture to life.

It is framed inside a white shadowbox picture frame. It is framed in a deep white shadowbox picture frame that is intended to set on a shelf. Please note this picture is not wired on the back for hanging on a wall. “A Kitten’s Dream Come True” looks great displayed setting on a shelf.
